How to use this calculator

Pick your currency, enter your pay and choose whether it is an hourly rate, a monthly salary or an annual salary. Keep 40 hours and 52 weeks for a standard full-time job, or change them to match your schedule. Use fewer paid weeks if you take unpaid time off.

How to convert hourly pay to an annual salary

  1. Multiply your hourly rate by the hours you work each week (e.g. $25 × 40 = $1,000)
  2. Multiply that by the paid weeks in a year (e.g. $1,000 × 52 = $52,000)
  3. Shortcut for full-time work: hourly rate × 2,080

To go the other way, divide your annual salary by your yearly paid hours. A $60,000 salary at 40 hours a week for 52 weeks is $60,000 ÷ 2,080 = $28.85 an hour.
